BLACK CAT MYSTERY "Dial REgent 3-"

In the days of rotary phones, the first two digits of a phone number were part of a name...
...which clever writers could use in titles like "Dial M for Murder" or, like this somewhat unique take on telephonic terror.
This credits for this never-reprinted tale from Harvey's Black Cat Mystery Comics #47 (1953) are incomplete.
The Grand Comics Database lists Joe Certa as the penciler, but without an inker, since the inking is clearly not Certa's style and neither they nor I can figure out who did it.
And the writer is unknown.

WANTED "Mania for Murder"

Who says comics cause juvenile delinquency?
Well, the NY State Joint Legislative Committee to Study Comics did!
And this tawdry tale was one of their prime examples!

Like the classic "Murder, Morphine and Me", this sordid story from Orbit/Wanted's Wanted Comics #27 (1950) was reprinted in the report issued by the New York State Legislative Commission on Censorship in Comics as an example of the "trash" that was "corrupting innocent American youth"!
But, only select panels were presented, not the entire tale!
And, this story has never been reprinted in any of the numerous hardcover or paperback compilations of horror comics since then!

OUT OF THE SHADOWS "Images of Sand"

It's over 100 degrees all over America, so let's tell a story set in a desert...
...featuring a beautiful woman, treasure, and a curse that will chill your blood...
A creepy classic from Standard Comics' Out of the Shadows #12 (1954), penciled by the legendary Alex Toth & inked by Mike Peppe (with what appears to be a penciling assist by Mike Sekowsky and inking assist by Don Heck).
The writer is unknown.
